Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” will get its third No. 1 weekend at the box office, earning an industry estimated $33 million and rising above the underperforming “John Wick” spinoff “Ballerina.”

The first 'John Wick' spinoff had hoped for a $30 million-$35 million opening, but the Ana de Armas action pic may now come in at $25 million-$27 million.

Lilo and Stitch is already a box office smash hit. The live-action spin on Disney's 2002 animated classic earned an enormous $341m (£252m) worldwide in its opening weekend and, in the US, it scored the biggest Memorial Day start in history.
