A 14-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a gang-motivated shooting at an East San Jose apartment complex last month, police say.

A teenager is facing attempted murder charges after San Jose police say he was involved in a gang-related shooting, according to authorities. At 4:31 p.m. on May 14, San Jose Police Department officers responded to an apartment parking lot near Tosca Court and Tosca Way for the report of a shooting.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- A Milwaukee police officer who was shot Thursday while responding to a call died three days later, the police department announced on Sunday. Officer Kendall Corder, 32, died Sunday as a result of the injuries he suffered in the shooting. His partner was also shot but survived.
