The Yemen-based Houthis have "capitulated" and stopped attacking commercial and military shipping, President Donald Trump announced after meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Tuesday.

The president said the Iran-backed group reached out and expressed that they “don’t want to fight anymore.” The ceasefire was brokered by Oman.
