Former Dallas Stars forward Logan Stankoven agreed to terms Tuesday on an eight-year extension with the Carolina Hurricanes, the team announced. Stankoven’s new contract will be worth $6 million annually, and will begin with the 2026-27 campaign. He was acquired from Dallas at the trade deadline as part of the return for Mikko Rantanen.

Forward Logan Stankoven made a long-term commitment to the Carolina Hurricanes by signing an eight-year, $48 million contract extension on Tuesday.
